The Hive London

The Hive is an international football training venue containing banqueting, conferencing and fitness facilities. It also boasts a stadium for hosting Barnet Football Club, the London Broncos and The London Bees WSL home matches.

DM honoured the client’s brief by producing a website that showcased the quality of facilities available at the Hive. We were commissioned to design and build the site and to art direct the photography. We focused on vibrant photographs with a strong vignette to nicely frame the pictures. We selected imagery that highlighted each area of the venue.

We emphasised the colour orange which echoed the Hive logo. We also utilised symbolic typography with Serif for the font title to denote prestige and Sans serif as the main text to represent modernity and provide clean legibility. The gray and purple coloured design signifies a reputable and classy brand.

The build is a WordPress site that enables the Hive to maintain total control of their content.
